about this poster

Pin-up and red gas pump poster, “NICE TRY”

At a sunlit roadside gas station, a pin-up with flawless curls winks over her shoulder. She leans against a tall red gas pump topped with a glass globe. A vintage convertible is parked beside her, and in the foreground sit oil cans, a stack of tires and a bucket of water. In the background, a small garage shelters under its striped awning. The title “NICE TRY” adds a touch of irony to this mischievous pin-up poster.

A playful poster for the garage or the bar

Its bright red and full-summer light liven up a garage, a workshop, a bar corner, a living room or a bedroom. In portrait orientation, it fits above a workbench, a jukebox or a counter. It pairs well with chrome, red leather, metal and thrifted gas station finds. You can group it with other car or pin-up posters. It makes a very funny gift for a mechanic, a vintage car collector or a friend who always has a quick comeback.

Who should I give this pin-up poster to?

It will make a mechanic, a vintage car enthusiast or a friend who loves a little irony smile. It easily finds its place in a garage or a bar corner.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
