about this poster

Woman writer at a typewriter poster

Seated at a wooden desk, a woman writer types away at her typewriter. Beside her rise a tall stack of books and a desk lamp, while a window opens behind her. The title “FIRST DRAFT” evokes that first pass, the moment a story takes shape. This writer poster sets a calm, studious scene in warm tones of wood and light, made intimate by the vertical format, like a workspace seen up close.

A writing poster for the home office or library

Vertical and warm, it hangs above a desk, in a library or in a reading nook. Its wood tones pair well with walnut, leather, shelves full of books and lamps with green or brass shades. It keeps good company through long hours of work and focus. Pair it with other posters about books or writing professions. It is a meaningful gift for a novelist, a literature student, a journalist or a friend who has just finished her first manuscript.
