Wooden skis and poles against a snowy chalet poster

Wooden skis poster against a chalet, “WOODEN SKIS”

A pair of wooden skis and bamboo poles lean against the wall of a snow-covered chalet. Beside them, a carved balcony and a shuttered French door complete the façade, where a person in a red jacket stands beneath a thick blanket of snow. The title “WOODEN SKIS” pays tribute to skiing of days gone by. This wooden skis poster is all about simplicity: tones of russet-brown wood, sky blue and snow white, in a calm, cozy scene. You can almost picture coming off the slopes, cheeks cold, with the warmth of the stove just beyond the door.

A cozy poster for a chalet or entryway

Its russet-brown wood, sky blue and snow tones suit a chalet, an entryway, a living room or a mountain bedroom. In landscape orientation, it sits nicely near a coat rack, above a bench or over a log chest. It pairs well with wood paneling, wool, plaid blankets, sheepskins and wrought iron. You can combine it with other winter mountain posters. It makes a gift for a collector of vintage skis, a retired ski instructor or a family who has just bought their chalet.
