about this poster

Boxing gloves in the locker room poster, “HANG THEM UP”

In the locker room of an old boxing gym, a pair of worn red leather gloves hangs by its laces from the half-open door of a tall green metal locker. In the foreground, a wooden bench holds a towel, a jump rope and hand wraps. Through an open door, you can glimpse the lit ring and boxers in training. This boxing poster tells the story of the end of a career more than a fight. The title “HANG THEM UP” evokes the moment a boxer retires.

A boxing locker room for a gym

Its reds and metallic greens suit a gym, an office, a garage, an entryway or a boxing club. They go well with leather, raw wood, metal, brick and concrete. Its slightly melancholy mood appeals to fans of sports stories. It can be paired with other boxing or locker room posters. It is a ready-made gift for a boxer leaving competition, a trainer retiring or a boxing enthusiast.
