Your questions

6 answers before you choose

What’s the difference between a botanical poster and a flower poster?

Here, the plant is drawn in full, like a naturalist’s plate: leaves, stem, sometimes roots and fruit. The Flowers collection focuses more on bouquets and compositions. 13 posters appear in both collections.

Are these real antique botanical plates?

No. They are recent illustrations, drawn in the spirit of antique plates and printed on demand. If you’re looking for a “vintage” botanical poster, this is the look you’ll find: the feel of an antique plate, on fresh new paper. The captions are decorative and are not meant to identify a plant.

Which botanical poster should I choose for a kitchen?

Citrus first and foremost: lemon tree, lemon and verbena, lemons and oranges. The tomato plant, the strawberry plant or thyme and rosemary also work very well. Find them along with more ideas in our kitchen posters.

How do I put together a herbarium wall?

Choose 3 to 6 plates from the same family (herbarium prints, foliage or citrus), in the same size and with the same frame, and keep the same gap between them. Our guide 15 gallery wall layouts offers ready-made plans, and the flowers and botanical guide has ideas for pairings.

Can I mix portrait and landscape posters?

Yes. 31 posters in the collection are portrait and 9 are landscape (climbing rose, thyme and rosemary, tomatoes, bouquet of peonies and irises...). Align them on the same line, at the top or the center, to keep the wall looking tidy.

What size above a sofa?

For a 2 m sofa, a single A1 or A0 poster, or 2 A2 side by side. For a lighter wall, 3 A3 posters in a row.
