about this poster

Cherry blossom branch over a Japanese lake poster

Leaning out over the water, a blossoming cherry branch frames the top of this poster. Below, a very calm Japanese lake stretches out, with a small cream-colored boat floating on it and a figure standing inside. On the opposite shore, softly shaped hills close off the landscape. The tender pink of the blossoms stands out against the peaceful tones of the water and sky, in a very pared-back vertical composition. Titled “CHERRY BLOSSOM,” this poster invites you to slow down and take in the silence of a spring morning in Japan.

A peaceful Japanese lake for the bedroom or bathroom

It brings softness to a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room or a yoga space. The vertical format fits above a bed, a bathtub or a reading chair. Its calm tones pair well with natural wood, bamboo, ecru fabrics and green plants. It can also sit alongside other Japanese or floral posters on the same wall. It makes a thoughtful gift idea for a lover of Japan, someone who practices meditation or a friend looking for a soothing image for her home.

Your questions

What does the “CHERRY BLOSSOM” poster show?

It shows a blossoming cherry branch leaning over a calm Japanese lake. A small wooden boat floats on the water and gentle hills outline the opposite shore. The title is English for the flower of the cherry tree.

What goes well with this cherry blossom poster?

It matches natural wood, bamboo, ecru linen and green plants. It also makes a lovely pair with another Japanese or floral poster in soft tones.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
