Fig tree with purple figs in a stone courtyard poster

At the center of this poster, a large fig tree spreads its broad leaves over a courtyard paved in pale stone. Its branches are heavy with ripe purple figs. In the shade of the tree, a woman in a white dress looks up at the fruit, next to a wooden bench and a terracotta jar. The light blue sky, the soft green of the foliage and the warm tones of the stone make up a peaceful southern scene. The title “Summer Fig” accompanies this suspended summer moment, in a vertical format.

A southern fig tree for the kitchen or sunroom

Its tones of pale stone and soft green bring southern warmth to a kitchen, dining room, sunroom or entryway. The vertical format fits easily beside a French door or a dresser. It pairs well with terracotta, raw wood, white linen and painted ceramics, like an echo of the jar in the courtyard. It makes a gift idea for lovers of Provence or the South, for a gardener who watches for figs every late summer, or for a vacation home.
