about this poster

Stone mountain hut by an alpine lake poster

On the shore of an alpine lake with still water stands a stone hut topped with an orange roof. The mountains are reflected there as in a mirror, beneath a high peak that dominates the scene. This mountain hut poster breathes calm: not a breath of wind, a single figure standing near the door, and around it the water, the rock and the shelter. The blues of the lake, the grays of the stone and the greens of the alpine pastures make a serene palette, in a vertical format. The lettering “SHELTER BY THE LAKE” accompanies the image.

A serene mountain hut for the bedroom or chalet

It fits in a bedroom, a chalet living room, an office or a reading nook. Its blues and grays go well with wood, wool, raw linen and stone. Vertical, it fits easily beside a window or above a bedside table. With other lake and mountain posters, it makes a peaceful wall. A great gift for a hiker who sleeps in mountain huts, a hut keeper, a bivouac enthusiast or anyone who needs some calm.
