about this poster

Fishing boat returning to port at sunset poster

A traditional wooden fishing boat makes its way back into a small harbor as the sun goes down. Its furled sail stands along the mast, and a lone fisherman stands at the stern, near the cabin, facing the quay. This fishing boat poster captures the end of a long day at sea, when the work is done and the light fades. The oranges of the sky, the deep blues of the water and the warm tones of the wood make a soothing palette, in portrait format. The title “HOMEWARD BOUND” accompanies the scene.

A return to port for a nautical living room

Its oranges and deep blues fit right in a living room, entryway, office or seaside house. It goes well with driftwood, rope, linen, navy tones and brass. Its portrait format slips easily between 2 windows. With other harbor or boat posters, it makes a maritime wall. It is a ready-made gift for a professional fisherman, a boater, a grandfather who sailed all his life or someone about to retire.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
